Inside Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Warehouse

Corn forward mashbills usually carry a rounded, gentle sweetness. First, bourbon aged in new charred oak commonly leans toward caramel and vanilla. Oak tannin gives the finish structure rather than sharp edges. In short, most drinkers read brown sugar and toasted grain in this style. In turn, Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Warehouse makes the case for slowing down a little.

Food Pairing and Occasions

Smoked brisket stands up well to a full flavoured pour. Therefore, bacon wrapped appetisers pair neatly with a bourbon nightcap. Fathers Day shoppers return to American whiskey year after year. Just as important, pecan pie and dark chocolate work beautifully alongside the glass. A housewarming gift rarely lands better than a respected pour. Even so, pair it with Colonel E H Taylor Small Batch for a side by side tasting.

Where Bourbon Comes From

Every legal bourbon rests in fresh oak rather than a used cask. Because of that, Kentucky remains the heartland of American whiskey production. American distillers built this category on corn, oak and patience. Above all, bourbon starts life as a mash of at least fifty one percent corn. The bourbon shelf has grown fast across the United States and Canada. That said, browse the wider whiskey brands collection to compare styles.
