Three batches at different barrel-strength proofs were released for the 150th anniversary — each batch drawn from a different selection of barrels, each with its own distinct proof and character. Batch 01/03 at 125.6 proof is the most intense of the series. Unfiltered bottling preserves the natural oils and fatty acids that cold filtration typically removes, maintaining the full flavor concentration and the slightly cloudy appearance that enthusiasts associate with authentic cask-strength bourbon.
