Port Ellen Distillery on the southern shore of Islay was one of the island’s most celebrated distilleries before its closure in 1983. Its remaining casks are a finite and irreplaceable resource. The Ghost & Rare series was created to explore the flavour of irreplaceable spirits from a small number of iconic closed distilleries.
